Our First Snow!

Looking out the kitchen window into the back garden

It's hard to believe it's already that time...yep...it's winter AGAIN! I think I only wore short sleeves a couple of weeks this whole year! We woke up this morning to snow! It was a very small amount and was melted by the light rain within a few hours, but still, already? We don't get loads of snow here. It's nothing like the snowplow-salt truck-don't leave your house snowfalls we used to get in Columbus-thank goodness! But it is just enough to get excited about, maybe build a snowman, and still be able to carry on with your normal lives.

I would like to have a little snow every once in awhile. We will probably get our first snow in March or April!!!

As we left for church Sunday morning it was pretty cloudy and dad made the remark that they looked like snow clouds. I would like to be wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate and watch it snow out our picture window. According to the farmer we are in for a hard winter but the weatherman says it will not be so bad. Seeing the view out your window brings back memories. Can't wait to see you both. Love Mom

I agree with everyone else that the snow sure looks inviting. We have had a few cooler days and it's nice to pull out the sweaters. See you soon.
